The best day to write a song is when it’s raining:

No birds, no notes caught up in the sky.

They find their way into the quiet space of this old house,

So I write ‘em down – the next day try to figure ‘em out.

The best day to say “I Love You” is when it’s raining:

When the world’s gone soft with a smoky, grey light.

Now, I like sunshine, but I think it’s over rated.
